The brooke beneath the bridge was frozen stiff, the flowing water too slow to resist winter's icey clutches. Everything was covered in a thick layer of soft, powdery snow, most of it barely bruised with footsteps. It reminded Kitten of innocence, and for that he stomped on the snow beneath his boot.
Kitten stood outside in the freezing cold, feeling like a danm marshmellow in his puffy coat, but at least he was warm. He didn't know why he was outside, and since his already frozen nose seemed to be dripping, he should've left already. But he hadn't. The neko merely stood on the side of the bridge, staring out at the whiteness before him.
It was all so danm magical, the way the ice coated the bare tree branches, making up for the lack of leaves. How each freaken snowflake glittered as the sunlight hit it, and icicles hung off everything, sparkling. He wasn't sure if he felt sick or if it was just the cold (which he was not accustomed too) as he stood outside, his golden eyes scraping over the land. It had to be the cold that was making tears streak down his face, though, that he was sure of.

Zaahir walked though the snow wearing only a sweatshirt.He hated snow or at least disliked it.His steps were small."Ack.Snow.."He growled.He noticed something ahead of him.A puffy coat?An Eskimo?Wait....It was Kitten!"Oh My.."

Hearing the tell-tale crunch of snow, which he figured were foot steps, Kitten turned his head, suprised to see another human being walking through the snow, though this one had a measly sweatshirt on. "Aren't you cold?" He called out, squinting his golden eyes to see who it was. Oh. Shti. It was Zaahir. The teen's face flushed a brilliant red as he remembered their, ahem, passionate meeting in the bathroom.

Kitten's eyebrows furrowed, feeling uncomfortable standing in the snow, the awkward silence chilling him just as much as the frosty air. "You're not cold, even when wearing that? Freaken god, I can't stand the cold..." The teen said, furrowing deeper into his fluffy coat. He was vainly trying to forget what had happened at the bar, how it had fukced up his life, and how good it had felt. He didn't want to remember any of it. His golden eyes stared innocently at the boy, a brilliant plan forming in his head. He could pretend he didn't remember any of it! He mentaly grinned, yes, good plan. To make it convincing he cocked his head, "What's your name, anywho?...I don't think I've seen you around here," Reluctantly he pulled his gloved hand out of his pocket, grinning, "I'm Kitten!"

He raised his eyebrows."I don't get cold often.."Zaahir shrugged.It was a common thing for him;after all he lived in alleyways for a long time,right?He frowned.Wasn't he too warm in that thick coat?Is he the only freak?He shivered lightly.Awkward silence...No?He shifted nervously.
He raised his eyebrows again,didn't he know him?Weird."Zaahir..and...I think you have."

"Really? Odd, I can't stand the cold." As if speaking of it made it worse, Kitten pulled the puffy coat tighter around him. The boy's golden eyes examined him for a moment, taking in the odd stare, slight shiver, and nervous shift.
"See! You just shivered! You have to be cold!" Kitten declared, throwing his gloved hands up into the air, grinning. His grin faltered a bit on his pink tinted face, "You swear you're not cold? You can use my coat if you are. Zaahir? That's a cool name!" He pouted a bit, seeming to be thinking, "No, I don't think I've met you. I don't meet people very often, so the few I do stick in my mind." The teen grinned, for a little while completely forgetting that his love was gone and that he actually did know the unbearably cute boy before him.

"Well, sorr~y." Kitten blinked as the boy's face hardened, his dark eyebrows furrowing above his guarded eyes. He watched his hasty retreat, something in his chest stinging. "Wait!" He ran up to the other neko, grabbing his arm.
"I do remember you, I'm sorry I lied and if that's making you want to run away don't. It's just that...what happened at that bar made someone I really care for leave, and that hurt me, so I didn't want the subject to come back up again." As he talked the pain in his chest seemed to grow. Slowly, he let his grip on Zaahir's arm drop, staring dismally down at the side walk, "Please forgive me?"

"We were both completely smashed, don't worry about it." Kitten managed a shakey smile, raising his head. "Besides, I was the one that came onto you, you just accepted the offer, don't appologize." He lightly pushed Zaahir's lightly clad shoulder, "Don't worry about it anyway, I'm getting over her." The teen grinned brightly, ignoring Mako's "Slowly".

"You sure?"Concern rippled though him like a wave.Whats my problem?!I've lived though Danger and yet I can't do this?!He pushed hair out of his eyes and looked at him.Slowly,He smiled back,trying to hide his concern.Was it working?

"I'm absolutely positive," The teen's grin widened, trying to ignore his companions well placed concern. He didn't need it right now, it was already over, he was alright.
{Ignore this next paragraph if you will, it helped me vent some of my emo-ness since this is like one of the only threads I have -sweatdrops, tacklehugsyou-}
He pushed away the thoughts of the scars on his arm, the worried look Bella sent him, and the horrified look she had stared at him with. Like she hadn't realized what she was doing, like it was all her fault. Or all his, and she was just now seeing how tainted he was.
